Thank you, Lord, for this forum to share my prayer requests with my brothers and sisters in Christ!
Please pray for strong Christian men to surround my father at his new job and also my cousin, Justin, who is currently deployed. I ask that you pray for the safety and protection of the troops who were, are and will be deployed to dangerous areas of the world. I would prefer that Justin and his comrades be safe, but I pray that above all, that they would return from this deployment in a better spiritual position than when they left.
Please also pray for my employment...that God would provide a position for me in the next few weeks where I could better utilize my skills and gifts. Thanks for lifting me up!!

For my daughter-in-law facing her third surgery this Thurs in a period of 5 wks. Jill delivered a beautiful baby boy on 31 Dec by emegency C section. She had another major surgery that night for a blocked kidney. After 4 blood transfusions and wonderful care for 4 days she and my son Brian brought the baby home. Jill has experienced several emergency room visits since then for severe pain - will have her gall bladder removed this Thurs. Prayers for her recovery that she will heal quickly and be able to experience the joy of motherhood.Also prayer for reconciliation with her own mother who has cut off all contact with her extended family for the last three years.

Please pray for a Jewish co-worker who has joined the little Bible study I conduct at work. She is interested, but cautious, and afraid to acknowledge that Jesus just might be the Messiah. She is very interested, however. Her husband has a powerful position in her synagogue and I think one of her greatest fears if she acknowledged the truth, she'd be in real trouble. Please pray that the Lord will continue to move on her heart. She really wants to know God more (at this point, she believes that all gods worshipped today are the same god). I gave her Lon's testimony, but she won't listen to it

Please pray for my sister (we are both in our fifties). She moved in with me more than 10 years ago after a divorce and I tried to help her get on her feet, but it became more and more apparent through the years that she did not intend to help herself. Thanks to your prayers, the situation has improved, somewhat, emotionally, but my concern is that if something happens to me, she has no income (outside of a small job she does from home that pays only about $400 a month), no family members would take her in, she has no pensions, no 401K and social security (if it is still around) will only give her about $600 a month because she has never held a job for very long. She is very helpful around the house and tries to do what she can, but she is totally dependent upon me and I am deeply concerned for her if something should happen to me. I can't afford life insurance. She will be on the street if something happens. Will you please lift her up in your prayers (that the Lord will give her a job she won't be terrified to do outside of the home (she is sweet and is, therefore, a bully magnet in most places she has worked), and will even, if possible, give her opportunity to help me with the living expenses. Thank you!

My husband and I are about to lose our storage unit. It contains almost everything we own since beginng kicked out three years ago. We have been blessed by staying with family members all this time but my husband lost his job last year due to sickness. We fell behind in December and today at nine they will sell our stuff. I pray that god saves it so we can take out the important stuff. We have no where else to turn. If its gods will I ask him to bless us by saving it before its sold at 9am today. If it is to be sold then may the lord give me the strength and grace to deal. Thank you amen

My boyfriend Chad has a job interview tomorrow at 10:30am. This has been a great excitement for him but also comes with the typical nerves about getting out there and looking for a job. Please pray he has confidence and strength from the Lord as he goes not only to interview for the job but also to see if this is the place God will have him serve HIM first!

We are unemployed with no food stamps, been using food pantries but dont have any meals. I have three job interviews this week so your prayer has been working, please pray I get one f these jobs. Recently returning to Christ....I am sorry to say it's because of a personal loss of myself. Because of my choices of not following Christ like I should have I made mistakes. I lost my career and almost lost my faith until I remembered that God loves me, and that I need faith in him in order to live a good life. So no I venture out into the world...I have my health, sort of lol, I have my wife (a true gift of God) and we have our dog. I am very thankful of these things. My prayer request is that I never make this mistake again. I need to keep my eyes focused on God. I need to put more work on my spiritual certainty and not financial uncertainty. I pray to find employment that will continue to allow me to provide for my family and to show blessings to God. I miss my God time and even though I was saddened to lose my job, I am glorified that it lead me back to God, strengthened my relationship with my wife and reminded me that I should not put off my relationship to God because things were good.
